Jennifer Kennedy attended the University of Texas at Austin as a National Merit Scholar and received her Bachelor of Journalism degree, with high honors in 1987. She received her J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law in 1996, where she served as Literary Editor of the Pepperdine Law Review.
From 1996 to 2000, Ms. Kennedy was an associate with Breidenbach, Buckley, Huchting, Halm and Hamblet in Los Angeles, representing insureds and insurance companies in various types of civil litigation. Ms. Kennedy continued this litigation work through 2001 as an associate with the Law Offices of Virgil Roth in Los Angeles. In April 2001 Ms. Kennedy joined the Law Offices of Calvin Slater, Pasadena, concentrating in estate planning, trust administration, and probate. She later performed work for the firm on a contract basis. Ms. Kennedy again is involved in all aspects of litigation since joining Overland Borenstein Scheper & Kim in June 2005. |
