Alexander Cote

Alexander Cote is an experienced civil litigator, and has represented clients in a wide variety of matters pending in both state and federal courts, at all stages of litigation, including pre-trial and appellate work.  Mr. Cote’s substantive areas of practice include business contract disputes, intellectual property, products liability and bankruptcy.

Mr. Cote graduated cum laude from Connecticut College in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a self-designed interdisciplinary minor in Ethics.  He received his law degree from the University of Southern California, where he served as Executive Notes Editor of the Law Review and was elected to the Order of the Coif.

After law school, Mr. Cote served as judicial clerk for the Honorable Gary A. Feess, in the United States District Court for the Central District of California.  Prior to joining Overland Borenstein Scheper & Kim, LLP, Mr. Cote practiced at the law firm of Arnold & Porter, LLP, where he worked on a variety of matters in federal and state courts across the country.
